I found this part of the novel quite funny
I love that part late in the story where Aaron’s spear master seemingly references the manga “I kept pressing the 100 million year button” and spins it into a whole chapter long metaphor for Aaron’s continual memory rewipes.
Except it’s called the “500 million year button” and it gives you money instead of using it for training but we all know what author is talking about. Kind of a trash oblivious MC harem manga but I do love the concept of one guy just being so insane he’s basically immune to the effects of prolonged time. You have to be on the deeper end of the manga iceberg to know this one too.
Author is a man of culture, like how he always has Nihaku make a billion pop culture references everywhere. I feel like the Niflheimr characters need to spent a little less time on earth internet though, they’re going to get brainrot. Don’t wait until Ludigyon is Fortnite default dancing on the hangar pad before deployment or Yurneth learns about Autistic Rizz
Also a Korean LN referencing pop culture that aren’t just Korean things? And Referencing a Japanese cultural export without putting it down in some way??? Color me impressed. (And Pick Me Up author is by far the most skilled writer out of Korean LNs that I’ve read.)
