Diarrhea management after Ileocecal valve removal
So i just had my first resection a week ago. They removed my ileocecal valve and 1 meter of small intestine.
I definitely feel better now than when i was constipated with bowel obstruction but diarrhea is unbearable. I need to urgently use the toilet at least every two hours and my shit is mostly green or yellow liquid with small amounts of wery soft stool.
It is definitely caused by bile malabsorption and I've already read a lot about how many people with similar issue use Cholestyramine to manage it but issue is it is not available in my country and any other bile acid sequestrant too.
So what i want to ask is if anyone managed their post-resection diarrhea some other way? Some other drugs, some specific food or dietary supplements, anything.
