[LFH][PS5/PC][£250][UK]

I need a new headset for my PS5 and PC gaming. Audio fidelity/quality are the main priority, mic quality, comfort level for long durations, and an easy charging solution.

I realise now, there isn’t a perfect headset, so I ended up ordering the Astro A50 Gen 5s for £190/$250 US. I am torn between it and other options. The Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro seems like a reasonable competitor. I also see that anything above this price point simply isn’t worth the extra money.

The A50s arrive in a couple days, but have the option to return after usage. The deciding factor for me was the audio performance in FPS games, comfort level, and mic quality. I don’t really care about noise cancellation as the house is always quiet.

I was wondering if anyone has had experience with the A50 Gen 5/X and or any other headset from this price segment, and can tell me which they prefer and why. My budget stretches up to £250/$300 US max. So, should I stick with the A50s and keep them, or do you suggest anything else?

Now I know I can go to YouTube, but user experience over long periods of time is more valuable to me, and YouTube reviews aren’t really helping for some reason.

Thanks for reading the post people, any help is appreciated. Good day👍

Best PS5/PC gaming headset?

I need a new headset for my PS5 and PC gaming. Audio fidelity/quality are the main priority, mic quality, comfort level for long durations, and an easy charging solution.

I realise now, there isn’t a perfect headset, so I ended up ordering the Astro A50 Gen 5s for £190/$250 US. I am torn between it and the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro. Both pretty much same price.

Oh yeah, and the ability to tune the EQ on my PC and phone app, very handy.

I was wondering if anyone has had experience with the A50 Gen 5/X and the Nova Pro Wireless, or any other headset from this price segment, and can tell me which they prefer and why. My budget stretches up to £250/$300 US max. So, should I stick with the A50s and keep them, or do you suggest anything else?

Now I know I can go to YouTube, but user experience over long periods of time is more valuable to me, and YouTube reviews aren’t really helping for some reason.
