The Fact that Blade did not die tonight means he has been blessed by some otherworldly entity. Content. Never. Ends.

The absolute unit DROVE INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC ON LAS VEGAS BOULEVARD and not only did he NOT get hit by a car, but he made it to a far-off corner and proceeded to passout.

Further, despite ramming into several people, Blade was neither shot nor hit. Something powerful, potentially dark-sided, is clearly protecting this man. He will continue to be litty again for years to come.

I have finally watched 'A Clockwork Orange'- and there is a clear generational gap which almost fulfils the movie's dystopian view on culture.

After a friend recommended it, I finally got around to watching A Clockwork Orange. Overall, I thought it was a fantastic movie, and I realize how much of the cinema and television I watch makes reference to the movie.

Now, sitting here, I am 29 years old and was born and raised on the internet. I have seen things, a great many things, and living in 2026 we can view our world in many different ways.

As I was watching the movie tonight, I took a pause and during that time my mother had asked me what I was doing, and I simply replied "Oh I'm finally getting around to watching 'A Clockwork Orange," and she was absolutely aghast.

She replied- "why would you watch that before bed?"

And I simply replied "I mean, it's not that bad."

And in that moment I realized- we have turned into the ultraviolent society. There is so much media that puts out themes of sexual assault, pornography is prevalent, government control and manipulation is known. The ultraviolence is almost common place.

I grew up with almost unfiltered internet access, and to say the least I have seen the worst that humanity has to offer- Liveleaks in its early days comes to mind. Sitting here having finished the move, some of these scenes that were supposed to shock, appall, and disgust me seem commonplace, because I know I have seen worse.

That sex, that wonton violence, the government manipulation, the persecution of dissidents. It has all been fulfilled, and a movie that comes from my mother's generation that shocked her to the core seemed like just another piece of cinema to me. I can't tell if that is a problem with me myself, or a reflection of the society that makes these themes more prevalent in its media.
