Upgrading from 16GB RAM to 32GB
Hello All,
I currently run MSFS on 16GB of RAM. I know that is far from ideal but with the price of RAM I’ve been skeptical to upgrade. However, I like to run the high detail aircraft like PMDG and Fenix as well as use detailed scenery.
To upgrade to 32GB DDR5 RAM I’d need to upgrade my CPU, motherboard, and RAM itself. This is quite a big cost and looking at good CPU’s it would cost around £800.
Chat GPT says that the upgrade will be pretty life changing. Goodbye to slow sim and stutters. I love MSFS so if they upgrade it truly that good then I’ll pay.
I just wonder if this is AI slop or if the upgrade will genuinely be that good? For context would buy the Ryzen 7 9800x3d CPU to run alongside my RTX 4070S.
Has anyone else made this jump and would care to share their experience?
