This is the first time this has happened to me (well I have almost done it but the guest will pause when I say the wrong name or start handing out the wrong item). 10 min before closing they came and I put the items in the backseat and they drove off. Another pickup came and my co-tm was like "where's this order?" And I'm looking and it's the items I gave out... immediately felt hot and stupid. I left the original items to the side so hopefully if they do come back tomorrow they can at least get what they paid for. 🥲 I feel terrible
