I'm at my FamilySearch Center this afternoon. I'm happy to retrieve limited-access records if you provide the URL to the record.

Could I encourage everyone to please edit their posts after the requests have been filled?

I'm happy to retrieve records from my Affiliate Library or FamilySearch Center.

It would save time if posters could edit the first line of the request to include "solved" or "fulfilled."

Then we would not need to read all the comments to see if the record is still needed.

I'm at an Affiliate Library this morning and can retrieve limited-access records if you supply the URL.

Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I was brought up to say "please" and "thank you" when asking for or receiving help. I don't think good manners are ever out of style.

I'm flabbergasted by the posters who ask for 5 or 10 or 15 records, with never a please or a thank you.

And, then the next week, the same poster asks for another dozen records.

I'm a diligent and experienced researcher. I LOVE helping, but I do not like being a doormat.

If you want my help, please and thank you will pave the way.
