Hello!

I recently went to Oahu Hawaii where I hiked Mt. Olomana (3 Peaks) and Mt. Olympus. Both trails were pretty muddy especially since it had been raining/flooding on the island just the week prior. I had some trail runners at the time but I kept slipping over and over, especially on Olomana. would love some suggestions !

Was looking at the Salomon X Ultra 5, Mid gore tex. But I would love to hear people's personal opinions (I don't always trust reviews on the sellers' websites.)
