I don't remember Pepperidge Farm Milano cookies tasting so bland and cheap. Or is it that I've just gotten older?
I haven't had them in a while... years really. I tried them maybe once or twice as a kid and they were really good. So good that you could easily finish an entire bag, on your own without even noticing before they're gone.
Fast forward to today, and I just so happened to buy me a bag at Dollar General. And I tell you what, they were so cheap and dry and tasted nothing of chocolate. They have "milk chocolate" in the middle but all I could taste was cheap dry sugar cookie. They're very much edible, they're cookies, but they're not as good as I remember them. What a waste of $5...
