Is it normal for jetlag to kick in later?

I flew to Japan (which is 7 hours ahead of where I live), and on the first day/night I slept completely fine. But now on the 2nd night I’m wide awake and can’t fall asleep at all after 2 hours of trying to fall asleep, is this normal?

Hi! This is my first time travelling so I’m a little unsure if I understand correctly. I’m flying economy with China Southern Airlines from Amsterdam to Japan with a layover in China.

It says on their site that I’m allowed 2 check-in bags of each > 23kg, and 1 carry-on > 8kg.

My question is if backpack is also considered the carry-on, or if I can bring a small suitcase/luggage case AND a backpack?
