Some QoL Thoughts and other feedback
I have all 4 classes to 20 and geared up. The game is full of potential and I cant wait to be able to progress further. Here are some things I'd like to see in no particular order:
Having a stone or some other object to interact with in the major towns that allows us to queue up any dungeon that we have already discovered(and potentially beat once)
The Bank / Vendor NPC feels very clunky. Put a storage chest near the NPC that you interact with and make that the sole bank system instead of talking to the NPC to store items.
Upgrading weapons should pull resources from the bank like crafting does.
Once you hit 20 and can have 2 arsenal skills, there is currently no system in place to guide that this is even a thing. Also the way you select the two skills is kinda clunky. Put some sort of highlight on the selected skills.
Whisper system and an actual party system. I don't personally party with random people because I play with family members exclusively...however I see it all the time in map chat people trying to group up and end up losing connection to each other due to instance changes / disconnects
Epic and Legendary Armor and Jewelry: I am sure this is coming down the pipeline. However, it would be cool to see other ways to get Legendary pieces outside of grinding bosses. Some ultra rare legendary recipes that are world drops and the recipes require obscene amounts of resources it would give us a reason to keep grinding the open world, instead of essentially just sitting outside a dungeon door once you hit max level.
The last 1/4 of the game feels pretty baron. I would assume this isnt their intent and probably rushed to release the content they had. Empty land and lack of mob variability. Having only the black ghost guys in those castles is pretty bland. The demons don't even have a loot table. What's up with those pointless big crab bosses in almost every area? The ones with 1 frontal cone attack. Very bland encounters. Who are those challenging? I'm sure some of these things are placeholders for upcoming content. At least I hope so.
The dungeons are fairly boring. The dungeon bosses even more so. Being forced to run them for a specific weapon kinda stinks. All the dungeon bosses are insanely easy compared to the arena bosses. I understand they add difficulty by giving us a dungeon with mechanics we must traverse through. I also think its fair to give some of the less skilled players an option to still get gear. It's just not enjoyable to run it over and over again. There is nothing difficult or fun about Mine Estrone, Sponge blob, Hive Trunk... etc.. After the third, fourth, 100th time.. I don't know what to do about this exactly. Maybe all bosses should have an arena version after you beat the dungeon version? Give sponge blob and other bosses an arena and add some more mechanics and difficulty like you have for arena bosses.
Remove cheese station boss hitbox. This just seems like the easiest fix to many of the issues. Him getting pushed by trains or nudging you into trains feels icky. It doesn't feel like a fun skill based mechanic. It feels icky.
Ways to endless "farm" for the open world loot table armor/ weapons. I know this has been brought up numerous times already but I'll say it again. It's pretty icky feeling if you aren't one of the lucky chosen to get a good Radiance / Glory / Creedence, etc in your play through.
I am aware this is EA and I know many changes are coming down the pipe. Just sharing my thoughts with current state of the game and hopes for future.
