Pelvic Pain went away for a week but has come back. Feeling conflicted/gaslighting myself into thinking I'm fine.

Good morning guys!

I'm currently spiralling and don't have anyone else to ask/talk to.

Previous context - I had an ultrasound in Jan 2026 after having pelvic pain for 3 weeks, it showed adhered ovary + scaring in pouch of Douglas. As of last week, I had daily pelvic pain that didn't respond to NSAIDS or heavier pain relief.

I had a hospital appointment last month with a regular gyno which didn't go well, was told to take birth control + try pelvic floor therapy. Made a complaint I am seeing another Gyno at the end of the month and was going to push for a laparoscopy.

My dilemma. I have since come off the combined oral pill in January. I have been tracking my cycle. I've had three periods since then, 35-45 day cycles which was normal for me prior to birth control.

My last period started on the 24th April, I noticed almost immediately that the pelvic pain actually settled down considerably during this period, I didn't need to take ANY pain relief, honestly it felt like an annoyance more than anything, period went away, pain became very mild, and then last week on the 7th I swear the pain went away completely it was a couple of days post ovulation, my partner and I had sex TWICE and both times I was in ZERO PAIN. It was amazing. (please don't stress, we use other contraceptive methods).

Fast forward to yesterday/this morning, yup the constant aching feeling is back, my left side is getting an occasional stabbing pain again and I hate it, this pain I'm feeling isn't the usual pain I get when my period is coming, this is just a very constant ache.

My hospital appointment is in two weeks, and I was going to ask for a laparoscopy, but now I just feel like I'm being dramatic for no reason, has anyone else had this happen? Everything I've read about flareups says it's shouldn't last for months and then just go away, but obviously google doesn't really account for personal stories from people with endo either.
