Grandma's King Ranch Chicken Recipe ✨

Recipe: King Ranch Chicken

Serves: Lots
Size: 13x9 dish (6-8 servings)
Ingredients:
>• 2 breast package with rib
>• 1 large fryer - boil in celery, onion, salt, pepper, carrots - debone
>• 3/4 t garlic salt
>• 1/2 t chili powder
>• 1 can cream of chicken soup
>• 1 can cream of mushroom soup
>• 10-12 soft CORN tortillas (cut into quarters)
>• 1 large onion chopped
>• 1 bell pepper chopped
>• 1 lb cheese (colby), grated
>• 1 cup chicken broth
>• 1 can rotel tomatoes (drained & crushed)
>
>Instructions (Layering):
>1. Layer 1: 1/2 chicken - start with
>2. Layer 2: 1/2 of everything but cheese
>3. DO AGAIN (Repeat the layers)
>4. Tomatoes on top
>5. Bake in a 350° oven - cover dish first 30 minutes.
>6. Uncover dish last 30 minutes.
