I've been trying out the various hidden aspect weapons and found myself struggling to do anything with the Anubis staff. It's attack seems really weak, the spectres it raises don't do much damage, and against bosses without many adds its almost useless.

Is there some secret sauce I'm missing with this weapon that makes it usable? Or is it just a 'hard mode' option?
