Why is the petwaste removel company idea not popular in europe?
In the whattsap group of my neighbourhood there were a lot of complains about dogshit wich led me to this idea. I saw the famous video on youtube from swoop scoop and did some research, but all the companies in this niche were in the US and one in dublin. I want to start here in Belgium in my neighborhood, because there are a lot of big houses and big gardens with dogs. Is there a reason why this is not popular here yet in belguim or how is it possible that nobody thought of this yet? My idea is to send a message in the whattsap group to test the demand and begin with just the basic stuff to do this job. I would like to start after my exams, because i am still in university. What should my asking price be? Because its something totally new here. I was thinking weekly 15 euros, biweekly 17 euros and monthly 20 euros and for one time 25 euros. My idea was first to test everything and when I see that there is demand i would ask for a company number wich is obligated in belgium for 104 euros. Insurance is also obligated, but i am still a student so my tax rate is close to zero. But the most important question is how should i begin here in Belgium? Door to door is not a good idea here, you would be signaled in the groupsapp after 3 houses… 70 percent of the houses have big gates and fences also. How do you react when your clients explode in numbers? How do you hire people? When do you buy tshirts and other things for your company?
