Is Gorton still pretty rough?

I have grown up in withington but can’t afford a house in that area at all. Found a nice period property in Gorton near Sunny brow park.

Please let me know if Gorton has changed for the better yet lol but on a side note let me know your thoughts if the demand will be there in the future given it’s close proximity to the city centre?
