hello - I’ve had back pain for about 3 years. I’m only 19 though so no one took me seriously. finally in these past few months I’ve advocated for myself and gone through a lot of pt and doctors. I got a mri over a month or so ago that showed there’s a lesion on my spine. the doctor needs me to get another with contrast. because I’m in school and far from home my family and I decided to wait until I get back. I’ll be back in two weeks or so but I’ve been living in pain this whole time trying to do school and stuff. no medicine works. the only think that kinda helps is like heat and lidocaine and menthol patches. I cant function how a normal 19 year old would. it’s flaring up right now and I can’t sleep but have a busy school day tomorrow. any advice while I’m panicking right now about what this lesion could be and regretting not doing a stupid mri sooner lol. thanks
