I need some advice/suggestion.
I have 3 years of experience into java development and springboot but i'm much interested into cloud and devops roles so somehow in my last org at infosys i learned google cloud and did several certifications 6x on it and learned the most of the devops things. later came here to US and completed masters in cs (F1) and started applying for jobs since last year september, for most of the roles i used the same resume everywhere.
applied 1000+ jobs till now
and I managed to get 3 responses
1 from canonical - rejected after aptitude, reasoning test.
1 from startup - ghosted after promising hire.
1 from google - gha passed later rejected in screening phase.
now my OPT is going to start from June mid and i have nothing in my hand to stop opt clock.
what should i do now?
what I'm thinking now is:
- do same thing(apply..apply) till june mid? even continue later using my 90 day unemployment days?
or
- prepare java and change resume to java + cloud then look after? or try on both java and devops(but really hectic)
