I want to do my alevels next year, could I email the unis and ask if they can defer my offer for next year or do I have to reapply

Im going to fail my a levels, there’s no hope for me im gonna get Es and U’s

I’m doing my exams at a private centre, should I just email them now and withdraw from my exams and sit the next year or just fail my a levels and do a foundation year at a low ranked university

I don’t mind about having to pay all the money again because I have savings

Only thing is that I’m 20 so if I sit them next year then I’ll be turning 22 first year uni and finishing uni at 24
What should I do

Is having better grades and going to a prestigious university worth starting uni at 22 and finishing at 24, future employers will probably ask about the “career gap” and I was doing fuck all resitting my a levels at 21

I’ll probably have to do a foundation year
I don’t care about location or prestige any uni in the uk
And when I mean fail I mean Es and Us
