Hey everyone! I'm currently trying to pick up some of my old hobbies again, and one of them is roller skating. I haven't skated in years, but I'd really love to get back into it. I'm​ in Loughborough, so I was wondering: Where's the best place to buy a decent pair of beginner/recreational roller skates in the UK? Are there any local shops you'd recommend, or is online the better option? Also, where are some good, safe places around Loughborough to practise as a beginner? Any recommendations or advice would be really appreciated.

Hi! I’m a graphic design student and I’ve become really fascinated by New Orleans culture, especially the jazz age/history/art side of it. I love Art Deco design, old jazz posters, music, dance styles, and the atmosphere/history of the city in general.

I was wondering if there are any online communities, societies, livestreams, radio groups, art spaces, or events where people interested in that side of New Orleans tend to gather? I’d genuinely love to learn more and connect with others who appreciate that artistic and cultural side of the city.
