My partner and I will be visiting San Francisco from Australia at the start of july this year, including for the 4th of July. We'll be there for 3 days before heading east. We've never visited SF, and I'm really keen to hear some insights from locals. My partner is a wheelchair user (can use crutches for short distances). I'm taking this into account given the hills...! We'll be staying near Union Square.
I was wondering if anyone would please be able to share thoughts on...
\- If being at Aquatic Park for the fireworks would be a good idea on the 4th July? Any other ideas on things to do or see would be really appreciated.
\- Any recommendations on hidden gems, personal recommendations on places to eat (especially near Union Square) or food tours. My partner loves record stores and bookshops, so if you have any recommendations on either, that would be great!
