Andhra Pradesh has a serious problem. The state was bifurcated in 2014.

We lost Hyderabad - our primary revenue engine - to Telangana overnight. Since then, we have been building from scratch. We have a new capital project. We have significant welfare commitments. We have a long coastline, good ports, strong agriculture. But our finances are under pressure. Revenue keeps falling short. Debt is rising. And despite everything the government is spending, people do not feel significantly better off. We need a strategy. Where do we start?
