PSA: Verizon’s last World Cup ticket drop before the tournament is June 1

I posted about one of these Verizon drops a couple weeks ago and a few people actually won, so figured I’d share again since they just announced their biggest one yet. Over 2,500 free tickets across 64 matches, and this round will include games in all the U.S. host cities.

https://www.verizon.com/about/news/verizon-announces-massive-ticket-drop-fifa-world-cup-2026

It goes live June 1 at 3pm ET (2pm CT, 12pm PT). First come first served through Verizon Access in the My Verizon app, same setup as last time.

Biggest thing to know is that it's localized. Your account can only claim matches within 150 miles of your home address, so realistically you're looking at whichever host city is closest to you. There are also a bunch of Golden Tickets in the mix this time for pitchside access if you hit one.

Here's the full match breakdown by city:

West coast (drops 12pm PT)
Seattle: M16, M32, M52, M63, M82
Los Angeles: M4, M15, M26, M39, M59, M73, M84
San Francisco Bay Area: M8, M20, M31, M44, M60, M81

Central (drops 2pm CT)
Kansas City: M19, M34, M58, M69, M87
Dallas: M11, M22, M43, M57, M70, M78, M88
Houston: M10, M23, M35, M47, M65, M76

East coast (drops 3pm ET)
Boston: M5, M18, M30, M45, M61, M74
Atlanta: M14, M25, M38, M50, M72, M80
New York/New Jersey: M7, M17, M41, M56, M67, M77
Miami: M13, M37, M49, M71, M86
Philadelphia: M9, M29, M42, M55, M68

Usual fine print applies, travel isn't included and the tickets are non-transferable. Not totally sure every account qualifies, but figured I'd post it since it sounds like this is the last drop before the tournament actually starts. Good luck =)

SeatSidekick now shows price history for every resale marketplace match

Quick update for anyone using the site.

Every resale match page now has a chart showing how the cheapest ticket has moved over time. Pick a range (24H, 3D, 7D, 14D), filter by category (Cat 1-4), and you can see the current price next to the period low. Makes it easier to tell if you're buying near the floor or still way above it.

Screenshot is France vs Senegal in Atlanta. Cheapest seat went from $682 to $460 over the last two weeks, down about 26%. The 14-day low was $450, so right now you'd be paying about $10 above the floor for that match. The category filter does the same thing for a specific tier, so if you're only shopping Cat 2 you can see how that floor has moved on its own without it getting blended with the cheaper categories.

Price history only goes back to May 8. That's when I got data collection going again after FIFA killed the endpoint I was using. So the longest view is about 12 days right now and grows from here. Full month of history on every match by mid-June, which is right before the tournament kicks off, so you'll have a solid window of data to work with when prices start really moving.

Alerts are also live. $20 one-time for unlimited alerts on any match. Set a threshold and it'll email you instead of you having to check the chart. Pairs well with the trend data, since you can use the chart to figure out a realistic threshold based on where prices have actually been, not just a guess.

Also worth mentioning, most resale matches now refresh every 1-3 minutes, way faster than before. So the "Now" number on the chart and the listings on the match page should both be pretty close to real-time.

This new feature is still pretty fresh so if you see something off let me know. Comment here or DM me.

Site is seatsidekick.com.

And thanks again for all the support. Had some press reach out this week and it's been pretty crazy seeing the site shared in places I never thought it'd end up.

PSA for Verizon customers: another ticket drop tomorrow at 3pm ET

A couple weeks back I saw a post on here where someone won World Cup Final tickets through Verizon's myAccess program, and a bunch of people in the comments said they had no idea this was even a thing.

Looks like Verizon is doing another drop tomorrow (5/13) at 3pm ET, this time for Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and the 3rd place game.

https://www.verizon.com/my-access-rewards/fifa-world-cup/

From what I can tell it's open to postpaid customers (Fios-only counts too), first-come first-served, and you claim through the My Verizon app under the myAccess tab. Not sure if every account qualifies though. Tickets are non-transferable and travel isn't included, but hey, free World Cup tickets.

Figured I'd share. Good luck =)

EDIT — Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 9:41 AM CDT: Quick update. Found a different path to pull data and it’s been running successfully since last night. Faster than what was getting blocked yesterday, more reliable, more accurate. The cat’s still chasing, but the mouse found another hole. Spending today and tomorrow morning on database changes to fit the new infrastructure. Site fully back Sunday evening with everything working, plus a few improvements I’ve been wanting to ship. Massive thank you to everyone who reached out and all the support!

Hey everyone, quick update from my end.

FIFA changed something on their end a couple hours ago and it disrupted how I pull data. SeatSidekick is partly down right now: live prices are stale, the LMS feed is paused, alerts aren't firing. I'm working on it.

Some context if you're curious. Running a tracker against this marketplace is a constant cat and mouse game. They run the platform, they set the rules, and they're not exactly thrilled when a third-party tool surfaces inventory faster, cleaner, and with less suffering than their actual UI does. Every once in a while they make a move and I adjust. Today they made a move.

Quick note on how this actually works for anyone curious. I don't have some magic backdoor into FIFA's system. I pull data the same way your browser does, just more often and more systematically. They have bot detection running on their side that watches for patterns, and over time it picks up on what I'm doing. That's just how it goes.

Eventually it catches up, I change how I operate, the cycle continues. This is expected. It's the price of what I do. Nobody's been hacked, nothing has been compromised, this is just the normal rhythm of running a tracker against a platform that doesn't want trackers running.

If anyone here saw my earlier post about the console script I was running before SeatSidekick existed, you already know this isn't my first round of this. I've been figuring out how to read FIFA's data for months. Their defenses have evolved, mine have evolved, and I'm still here. Today is the same dance, just at a bigger scale.

I have to take a second and say something else. I cannot believe the amount of people who have come through SeatSidekick over the last couple weeks. Visitors, signups, paying users, amazing emails, Reddit DMs, screenshots of alerts that actually saved someone money. I started this thing because I was personally tired of fighting the official site to get tickets for matches I cared about. The idea that thousands of other people felt the same way and showed up here is genuinely surreal. So thank you. Truly.

Of course, the better the tool gets and the more people use it, the more attention it draws. Was always going to happen at some point. It's almost flattering, in a "you stepped on the right toes" kind of way.

I want to say something specifically to the people who paid for alerts. Today is exactly the kind of day this product is supposed to help with, and instead the alerts went silent. That hurts when you've actually paid for something. A few things up front: SeatSidekick is a one-time payment for lifetime alerts, so there's no clock running on you to begin with. If anything important fired during the window, I'll do my best to flag it once I'm back online. And if any paying user feels burned by how this gets handled, my email is on the maintenance page. Reach out and I'll refund you, no questions asked. I mean that.

For everyone else just browsing, the prices and listings shown are stale right now, so don't trust them for anything live. Your account, watchlist, and rules are all sitting there exactly where you left them. Nothing has been lost, nothing has been changed.

Asking for 24 to 48 hours and hoping to be back faster than that.

I'll come back here once I'm up and running again, and I'll post updates here and on the website as I go. Thanks for being patient. Off to fix it. See you all soon!
