Am I using the Hack Squat machine wrong?

Hey yall it’s the wanna be Wonder Woman girl if any of you commented on that post before. If not hi, I’m a beginner. I’m typing this on my fourth day lol

So yes i did just start the gym this week and im loving it. Granted i couldn’t walk properly for two days but i love being there and i love the satisfaction of leaving.

So yesterday was my second leg day. (Monday being my first [glutes and hamstring]) Wednesday was for quads and glutes.

My last machine was the hack squat machine. It only had 25lb weights on it but I couldn’t go nearly into my squat deep enough without feeling my knees and legs feels unsupported.

I tried a few reqs but at some point my knees and locked in a deep squat I couldn’t get back out of and I panicked for like two seconds before using all my might to comeback to safe stance.

I know the machine had safety locks on but I was scared as hell from that. I thought it would crush me lol.

Prior to using the hack squat machine I used the leg press mostly until failure and did some single presses for my glutes. Then I did leg curls which was a killer, and then I did the hack squat machine.

Prior to come in my legs were already really sore from Monday’s workout so maybe that’s why I was feeling so weak on that machine but I’m genuinely not sure why I couldn’t handle it.

my dream build is lowkey Wonder Woman 😂 tips on how to get there?

I’m 19 F, 5’7, 206ish rn, I lost almost 38lbs from a GLP-1 w no diet or exercising. Now I wanna start exercising to maximize the benefits of this medication. And I can’t risk looking gaunt or feeling weak from losing too much muscle mass.

I quite literally want to look like a superhero. Maybe it’s a childish dream but it’s what I want. I lowkey wouldn’t mind having some noticeable muscle on me. I quite literally want to look like Wonder Woman (from the newer-ish comics for all my non comic book readers). I can’t attach photos but dm me if you would like.

Any advice would be appreciated. I will take it and make a workout split based on it. My main goals is so lose the stubborn belly and back fat I have, also build more upper body strength. And overall a significantly more toned look.

Also I will be exercising at a planet fitness
