looking for honest advice from anyone who has done something similar or works in payroll.

I'm currently completing my CIPP Payroll Technician Certificate.

My plan is to set up a small sole trader payroll bureau.

My questions for anyone with experience:

1. Is this realistic with a CIPP technician cert and limited direct payroll processing experience?
2. How long did it realistically take you to get your first client?
3. Do people just use there accountants for these tasked is there a market for me.
4. Any software recommendations for a small bureau starting out?
5. Any advice you wish someone had given you at the start?
