Is a 55-hour work week normal for a Construction Estimator VA?

Hi everyone, especially those working as Construction Estimator VAs or in remote construction support roles. I wanted to ask for honest insights from people already in the industry.

I recently received an offer for a Construction Estimator VA position with a 55-hour work week. The salary is around PHP 50k/month. I have a background in civil engineering and construction, so I understand that estimating can be demanding, especially with deadlines and takeoffs, but I’m wondering if this setup is considered normal or sustainable long term.

For those in similar roles:

- How many hours do you usually work per week?

- Is overtime common in estimator VA jobs?

- Do you think 50k is fair compensation for 55 hours/week?

- How stressful is the workload in your experience?

I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences and honest opinions before I make a decision. Thanks!
