I woke up this morning to a puddle of water sitting beside my 125 gallon tank and stand. The source was my airline tubing siphoning water out through a small hole in the tubing that was directly before my backflow valve. Now I am worried that my stand is compromised because it absorbed some of the water. I believe there was about 5-10 gallons of water sitting around about half the stand for about an hour. We dried up the water with towels and ran 2 hair dryers underneath the stand and thought all was good, but now looking at the stand several hours later, we are starting to notice some imperfections. For reference, it is the marineland majesty stand for 125 gallon tanks that is supposedly made of solid wood in some areas (pine) and plywood covered in veneer in others. I have attached some pictures of the damage I am noticing. The first picture is a top down view of the front panel once the door is open. The second picture shows the inside of the front right bottom corner of the tank (i dont see any damage here) and the third picture shows the front right bottom corner on the outside where the wood has split a little. I am concerned and I do not want to wake up to a flooded house. Is this ok or should I be looking for a new stand. please help
