Need JBOD enclosure recommendation and advice

I have managed to obtain a 1U server that contains a micro-atx X11SSH-F Supermicro motherboard. I just installed Unraid on it for the first time and think I'll stick with it. That being said, I'd like to make it a little more useful and turn it into a JBOD NAS.

My thoughts is to get a case that will allow me to transfer the motherboard to it with at least 8 hot-swappable drive trays. The motherboard has 8 SATA ports, but if I get a case with more trays, I will need to add anotther SAS/SATA controller. I should be able to repurpose the current power supply. Not a factor if I can't.

I am looking at the Rackchoice 2U chassis on Amazon. It has 12 trays, comes with sliding rails and 3 SAS to 4 SATA connectors. I'm presuming that I would be able to plug those cables into the case's backplane and then into my motherboard and add-on controller card. Am I thinking correctly on this? I would hate to spend the money on this chassis just to find out it won't work like I think it should. Any suggestions on an add-on card to control the addition 4 drives?

Thanks in advance.

Windows 11 Pro and X11SSH-F i210 drivers

We have a few AVTEC servers that are actually Supermicro with X11SSH-F motherboards in them. They currently have Windows 10 Enterprise IOT LTSC installed. With some versions of Windows 10 reaching EOS in October, we are looking for a solution to extend the life of the current devices we have until we can get funding to replace them.

I’m running into an issue installing Windows 11 Pro on one of them I’m using to experiment with. I obtained the TPM module as well as updated the BIOS but can’t seem to get any drivers to work for the Ethernet ports. I have tried drivers from Supermicro’s website and ones from intel. None are recognized by Windows 11 so I can’t finish the install. Anybody else try this and have a fix or workaround?

Thanks in advance.

Looking for an inexpensive kvm over IP. Any suggestions?

I’m looking for at least a 4-port KVM that I can mount in my rack and access remotely via Ethernet. Everything I am seeing is either single computer or over $700. I would prefer the monitor port to be VGA, but could use adapters if I have to. Any suggestions or am I stuck with the expensive options? Thanks in advance.

Bankruptcy overruns question

What happens in a bankruptcy if proceedings run on and on over what the original fees that were charged? For example, let's say that the trustee hires outside attornies and investigators to find and verify what the person filing the bankruptcy(plantiff?) actually has. The plantiff doesn't show for a deposition and then when it's rescheduled, they walk out of it. I'm pretty sure in this case the original fees have been exceeded. If your client is bankrupt, how do you recover the overage fees? Is the attorney added to the list of creditors and receives something out of what is recovered? Just curious.

Bankruptcy an Irrevocable trust question

I've been following this weird case out of Florida for a couple of years now. The respondent thought she could avoid having to pay anything awarded to the plaintiff in the multiple cases against her by filing bankruptcy. Now she's in the middle of the bankruptcy and is talking about putting her 1.66 acres of land into an irrevocable trust to keep it from being seized to pay her creditors.

I have several questions about this:

Is it allowable to put property into a trust when in the middle of a bankruptcy? Wouldn't this need to be done prior to filing the bankruptcy to avoid having the land taken?

Thanks in advance for your responses. Watching this particular case has expanded my legal knowledge quite a bit in various aspects of the law. This case is crazy.
