Hello, I have created a Reddit user history search tool.

What's special about it:

- It is based on Arctic Shift (primary) + PullPush (fallback), queried in parallel and merged by id, so each covers what the other misses.

- Recovers deleted content: reconstructs what an account posted and what is no longer there, distinguishing removed (moderator) from deleted (author).

- No credentials: no API key, no login, and reddit.com is never queried, so it works even on suspended accounts.

- Standard library only for the CLI, zero dependencies; also exposed as MCP tools for LLMs.

- Optional proxies with per-IP ban rotation, which is the real failure mode when hammering these archives.

It's nothing special but I just wanted to contribute my two cents.

Hola, me registré a principios de Julio en el Campus de la UOC, hice la propuesta ya matrícula y habilité la beca MEC.

Todo este tiempo ponía, al entrar en la web del MÁSTER EN CIENCIA DE DATOS: “plazas limitadas”.

Hoy, que he ido a formalizar la matrícula, me encuentro con que solo te permite acceder a matricularte para el semestre que empieza en febrero.

No sé si he perdido o no la oportunidad de matricularme para empezar en el semestre de septiembre porque cuando le doy a formalizar la matrícula, antes de pagar, me sale que es para el curso: 2026/2027-1.

Tengo miedo a pagar la matrícula y que al final resulte que es para febrero.

Sabéis si me puede dar problemas?

I’m building an ERP with the goal of selling it to a specific niche (agriculture and fruit & vegetable management companies).

I’m trying to think very carefully about which frameworks to use and what architecture to go with, so I can start with solid foundations and minimize the amount of changes I’ll need to make in the future.

For the backend, I’ve gone with .NET, but I’m completely lost when it comes to the frontend and don’t know which option to choose:

- Electron. Development is slower due to JS/CSS and much more difficult, the embedded Chromium module seems like a monstrosity to me, and Tauri doesn’t feel polished enough yet.

- WinForms/WPF. Old and being phased out by Microsoft, but they seem much easier to implement.
I’m planning to add modules such as embedded maps, but I’d have to do that using WebView2, and I’m not sure whether that’s the right approach.

What would you guys choose?

I’m a software engineer.

The job market has been a complete mess for months now, with thousands of layoffs happening every day. Every Reddit thread I read about careers or employment is full of dozens of comments confirming the same thing.

So I thought: “If companies don’t want me, I’ll create my own company instead, maybe as a consulting business.”

I came back to Reddit looking for some validation, but instead I found an even more depressing reality. People are saying that 90% of startups fail, that you need an already established client base to make it as an entrepreneur, and that making a living this way is incredibly difficult.

After spending days reading through different threads, my question is: WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO TO MAKE A LIVING?
Go fishing in a river?
