Airbnb friendly apartment complexes?

Hello! My husband and I are hoping to find an apartment building in either the Highlands or Capital Hill areas that are okay with us renting out through Airbnb from time to time (we travel a lot!). We’d like to stay under $2400 for a 1 or 2 bed that we could rent out for a few days/week at a time.

Please let me know if you’ve got any recommendations 🙂

London Medical Appointment and Document Check

My husband had his medical yesterday (IR1 interview will be in two weeks). This was his experience for anybody interested:

I had my medical and document pre-check on 06/07 in London. The team at visa medicals was super friendly. I filled out a questionnaire and was called up close to my appointment time to check in, they took my passport, a photograph (didn’t need any physical copies!!) and also took copies of my documents (all from the list they gave me prior).
After that I waited until I got called up to get my vaccination checked. As I had them all sorted beforehand, this only took 3 minutes and they sent me straight to do the chest x-ray.
I went back in the waiting room, got called by the Doctor shortly after - he did a physical examination, took a blood sample, asked some questions and went over my medical history.
I went back into the waiting room, got called up to check out, had all my original documents returned to me, paid the medical appt. fee (no amex) and received a pink slip to take the US embassy in London for my documents pre-check.
All in all it took exactly 80 minutes from my appointment time for me and all staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Medical results will be sent to the embassy after 5 days.
At the embassy my passport got checked, I went through security, received a ticket number and went to the first floor and waited. Once it was my turn, the person on the other side was extremely friendly and helpful, they took my fingerprints, asked some visa related questions, listened and answered my questions, put my documents (from the list) in a sealed envelope and I was done.
Wait time 55min, time at the desk 5 min.
All in all a more relaxing experience than I had imagined.
Now waiting two weeks for my interview at the embassy.

Document Requirements - Consular Processing (London Embassy CR1)

Hi! Wondering if anyone is going through/recently has gone through consular processing for their CR1 Interview and can answer a question.

I am the Petitioner USC living in the US. My Husband is scheduled for his Green Card interview at the London Embassy end of July.

Reading through the online guidance it mentions “Petitioner’s Original Birth Certificate” needs to be brought to his interview. Is this accurate? We haven’t needed it at all in this process so far so I’d have to mail it to him in the UK.

Thanks for any help!
