How to migrate from Keep to Notion
Hello fellow Google Keep users! About three months ago I had posted here about NoteHopper, a Google Keep to Notion migration tool.
I've since been working on improving the app, and now NoteHopper 2.0.0 is easier to use than ever. I have a few updates for anyone interested:
- For Windows users, the free app is now available on the Microsoft store. Go to the app store page or just type
winget install notehopperinto the PowerShell. - For Windows, Linux and Android, it's now easier to login to your Notion account. Just press the button and login as you would with the Notion app.
- For Windows and Linux, you no longer have to install
ffmpegseparately to transfer audio notes. It comes bundled with the app, so it juts works out of the box!
As a reminder, the app is free to use for up to 1000 notes, and it's very inexpensive compared to other solutions, if you need more. Let me explain:
With just $10 you get unlimited use of NoteHopper Pro and extra features, including one that saves you money in the long run. With Pro you can squash attachments to under 5MB, which lets you use the free Notion plan. Without it, any attachments over 5MB can only be uploaded to a paid Notion plan which costs you at least $9.50 every month, so an investment in NoteHopper Pro starts saving you money after just one month!
I am aware that there are other solutions out there for transferring Google Keep notes to Notion, but I am convinced that NoteHopper is the best. No Python scripts on github, no using undocumented Keep APIs, no upload problems if your internet connection is flaky or unreliable, and no formatting errors.
And your data never touches my server. You download it from Keep on your device, and then the app uploads everything, or the notes that you choose, directly into your Notion workspace. Just an app with three simple steps and clear instructions on every step.
