20 years with Type 1 and zero complications. Still going strong

Today marks TWENTY YEARS of T1D. When I was diagnosed as a kid, the doctors told me I'd have complications by now, nerve damage, kidney issues, you name it. They also said my life expectancy would be shortened.

Well, here's my middle finger to all that. Thriving with this disease and ZERO complications. I'm a proud dad of two beautiful kids. This damn diabetes doesn't run me , I run it.

Don't let the so-called experts scare you away from your dreams. You've got this.
