Skeeter syndrome

Skeeter syndrome

Pretty much what the title says. I developed skeeter syndrome at about 16 when I visited my grandparents down in Texas. Back then I had so many bites that I was in agony, even the slightest touch set the surrounding area on fire. The welts were so bad they were huge bruises basically. Benadryl and an oatmeal bath didnt even help.

Ever since I've had to be extremely careful when it comes to bug bites, and I've tried everything to prevent the pain that comes with them. The shitty suction device, the ceramic burner to destroy enzymes, even the extra strong cortisone doesn't work. I feel like I've tried everything to stop the pain even just a little bit. There was one rare occasion, of desperation I rubbed witch hazel and zit cream on a bite and it straight up disappeared. But it's not working on the latest ones I've gotten. I straight up want to set these bites on fire sometimes.

End of the rant I guess
