Which app is best for a beginner/intermediate learner?
Hi everyone! I know this question has probably been asked a thousand times, but I’d love to get your take.
I’m looking for the most effective way to level up my English. There are so many apps on the market, each with its own pros and cons, and honestly, I’m struggling to pick one.
My background:
I studied English back in school and have a very basic vocabulary.
I can understand about 40-60% of what I read here on Reddit.
After my last trip abroad, I realized that I absolutely need English to get by.
My goals:
Expand my vocabulary to understand more content.
Build enough confidence to hold a basic conversation.
I’m currently choosing between Memrise, Duolingo, ELSA Speak, and Speak. I’m actually leaning more towards Speak right now.
What do you guys think? Which one would you recommend for my level and goals? Thanks in advance!
