I’ve noticed many more power pole mounted chargers being installed around me in Sydney NSW. I first used a local pole charger in 2021 and there are now several networks installing them. It’s great to see as it makes use of existing infrastructure. They’re 22kW AC priced between 38c and 50c depending on time of day and location.

Have noticed recently lots more pole mounted EV chargers being installed in NSW by Everty, EVX, Exploren and AGL. I park on the street, so it’s good to have increasing charging options. Some of the charging units are a couple of metres from the kerb, so my 5m cable is just long enough for some. If you are new to EVs and thinking of getting your Type 2 cable, I’d recommend the 7m length if your charge port is on the driver’s side.
