Hi I just switched from Fedora 44 KDE to openSUSE Tumbleweed. I know a lot of people ask for a post installation guide but I can’t find a complete one. I’d like to know how to: mount a partition and configure it, change permissions, create a setup ready for gaming and keep it updated, where I should install packages from and which source is better, tips for X/Y/Z to make it run faster, how to simply watch a video (I can’t, probably because I didn’t install multimedia codecs), etc. I’m not saying that I can’t find the solutions but I don’t want to waste all that time. I used YaST to update everything, but it isn’t enough, there are so many options and infinite solutions to every problem
