Does my job being on the TSL qualify me for the lower application fee?
Hi! I just got an email from worksponsoreddocumentrequests @ homeoffice.gov.uk asking me to pay £315 for my application.
I've looked around here and see that the email is legitimate - but I just want to clear something up.
I paid the £628 application fee instead of the £943 (hence the £315 difference) because my job is on the Temporary Shortage List (TSL) and I meet that salary threshold and not the standard salary threshold for SWV.
I'm worried that by paying the difference, it won't be noted that my job is on the TSL and they'll look at the higher salary requirements.
However, these could also be completely not-related. My job could be on the TSL but not get the discounted rate.
Does anyone else have experience with this? Do I have to pay the standard £943 even if my job is on the TSL? Will paying it be somehow 'admitting' that my job isn't on the salary list?
Thanks in advance!
