This is hillarious.

Some of our fans got bored with Koc consistently finishing 2nd in the league, pouring more than 100m euros into the club from his own pocket, cleaning club finances, but still not winning the title at the end despite multiple seasons with record points. Ok, understandable, we want to be champions.

That got us into the Saran adventure. Not surprisingly he fumbled, wasted a lot of club money in the process, missed the title against the worst Gs in years, used our future earnings, and we now have another election in a month.

And now there is a realistic chance that AY-AK combo is back. For real. In year 2026.

The same combo that kicked Alex out.

The same AK with his archaic Konya style defensive football mentality. The same AK that made the whole country hate Fenerbahce after that single Anelka handball goal.

The same AY that ended up messing up club finances so bad that banks froze and held club earnings for almost a decade. We just got out of that mess.

I hope Safi stays in the race and wins. It is going to be so tough for him. Otherwise I am afraid we will have to knock on Koc’s door in less than a year.

What a nightmare.

- Insisting on playing 19-year old Sidiki while we have 2 world class strikers sitting on the bench

- Not convincing Saran that we need more midfielders back in January

- putting grease on Ifran Can’s gloves before the Alanya game, and Talisca’s boots on Goztepe, Alanya and Gala games before the penalties

- Not telling Oguz “don’t touch the effin goalkeeper” at minute 90+8 in Rize game and if the ref gives a faul anyway, not telling him “make a scene there to end the game like Gala players”

- not massaging Caglar’s hamstrings and Skriniar’s groin regularly to avoid injuries

- not anticipating Oh butchering Asensio during the Bjk game and not subbing him out earlier to prevent it

- Not complaining about the refs after our games and causing fan pressure on Saran to speak up instead

- Not offering a personal financial guarantee that Atalanta asked for Lookman transfer and causing the transfer to fail

- Looking like Mehmed the conqueror instead of Suleyman the magnificent

I can go all day. Still curious what the actual reason for Saran though.

I have been following the team since late 1980s. I remember a lot of club presidents, starting from Metin Asik and others. Saran presidency could be the worst one I have seen so far, probably the most unqualified, the most damaging to the club in such a short time.

Now, probably to distract from his own mistakes and to keep his own seat, he is letting Tedesco go. As if it is Tedesco’s fault we have been relying on a 19-year old kid to somehow deliver miracles game after game, after letting go En-Nesyri, Duran and Tosun without a replacement.

This is my prediction: next, he will sell a few players with huge financial losses, and then he will try to sign a couple of washed out names with outrageous contracts so that he can win the hearts of some gullible fans. Then we will knock the door of “bankalar birligi” on his way out.

We need an emergency club congress asap, and a vote of no confidence and no acquittal financially (no Ibra!) to get a chance to fix this mess.

Otherwise, financial ruin, here we come.
