Why is the guineapig community on tiktok so crazy? 🥲
Hi, I recently posted a video on Tik Tok (I have around 45k followers and usually get about 4-5k views), it showed me making a salad and then giving the leftover vegetables to my guineapigs with the caption "when you almost throw away vegetables but remember you have a recycle bin"
In the video you could only see a small part of the cage and only 1 of my 4 guineapigs because she was stretching and I thought it looked cute for the video and didn't think it was necessary to give a whole tour of everything also because my content isn't based around guineapigs they are rarely in my videos. And I got so many comments calling me an animal ab*ser because people assumed the pig is alone and the cage is too small (in total it's like 6 square meters or more you just couldn't see it all and the other pigs were in another corner) the craziest thing by far was someone saying carrots are too fatty for guineapigs, like they are literally vegetables.
So people see a 5 second video, one of the around 3-5 times a day I feed them and assume they know everything? Even after me writing countless comments trying to clear things up people just didn't read them and keept hating, I just don't get it because it literally says in my bio "mom of 4 little pigs🐽🐽🐽🐽"
Thanks for reading and have a good rest of your day guys 🐷❤
