Please Help Me Understand My First Glasses Prescription

I was diagnosed with astigmatism at my very first eye exam ever (at the age of 44) a few weeks ago. I was aware of issues (but managed to keep it to myself, and it didn’t hinder my school years) with my right eye for my entire life, so I’m not surprised by that diagnosis.

What I do not know is if this prescription means the astigmatism would be considered a mild or moderate form. Can anyone tell from these numbers?

There was also Presbyopia for me, so I understand the Near Add. What does the Axis of 180 signify?

My prescription:

OD:

Sphere: +2.00, Cyl: -1.25. Axis: 020. Near Add: +1.25

OS:

Sphere: +1.25. Cyl: 0.75. Axis: 180. Near Add: +1.25

I ended up with Multifocal Progressives, and I am in love with how amazing the clarity is now that I have them in my possession. The frames are comfortable. It only took me a second or two before I was fully adjusted to the lenses, so they were definitely needed.

Now that I’ve managed to come down from the amazement of everything, I’m just trying to understand the rest of what it means.

Thank you in advance!
