This is not a "he was 100% in the right" defense but a "he fucked up and hindsight is 2020 but he isn't an iredeemable monster like wilbur and the like and shouldn't be treated as such".

From what I have gathered what happened is he never expected to really blow up and literally get integrated into techno's irl friendgroup due to LITERAL SKEPPY reaching out to him and was just roleplaying his fav youtuber on an SMP that's gimmick was designed around that, and didn't expect technodad and techno's greiving friend group to literally get involved since iirc he had only 2k subs at the time.

Yes, it is in bad taste with the full hindsight and when you think about it really hard but people on the internet seem to forget that not everyone makes rational decisions and again the dude was like 2k subs at the time so it was not like he could personally ask technodad if I had to guess, it seems to me like he basically pushed those concerns aside so he could larp as his fav youtuber and didn't understand the unholy consequences it would have.

Basically: imo the dude fucked up and did something in bad taste because he ignored the potential consequences to galivant around as his fav youtuber and now is getting super defensive because literally have the internet is crucifying him right now

People need to realize that someone can be in the wrong and make shitty decisions without being a literally irredeemable monster like the YTbers that were exposed for grooming

People on the internet seem to think that everyone is either a literal saint or evil mega satan with 0 inbetween and it seems to be a recurring trend whenever these "acceptable targets" show up

Edit: he got permabanned on YouTube bc mfers mass reported him, now he CANT rebrand on a new acc bc that would be ban evasion

This shit made me loose a lot of respect for this community, I will always respect Technodad and Technoblade tho
