Hey everyone, we’ve recently started experimenting CAD parts/assembly generation using a fine-tuned AI model and macros, mainly for fun and to explore what’s already possible today with parametric CAD creation in Solidworks.
The idea is simple: give me an object, a mechanical part, or even a small assembly, and we try to see if our AI can turn that into a SLDPRT/SLDASM parametric CAD model.
Right now, it’s just an exploration of what works, what breaks, and what kind of crazy outputs we can get from relatively simple prompts. The result will not be manufacturable or perfectly fully defined.
