found kitten, need help!!

hi so, as the title says, my family and I recently found a kitten. she was in our backyard and we stayed out there with her, feeding her and such, but there were no signs of a mother or siblings. eventually we took her inside, but for the whole time we've had her she hasn't used the bathroom, so to speak, so im slightly worried! shes quite happy, purring the whole time and eating and drinking water, so I've just got two questions:

  1. is this a cause for concern and, if not, when does it become one?
  2. does she look young enough that she still needs stimulation to help her go? i tried once with a wet cotton pad but she just seemed uncomfortable, so i stopped

any advice is much appreciated, thank you!
