Touring schools and had questions about students with Eczema.

I toured a school in my area and they gave a free facial from the students after the tour. I scheduled mine and went cause I wanted to learn more about the school. The person giving me the facial was amazing and understood what I was saying with my concerns with eczema. But when the instructor came in, it felt like she was downplaying it as normal reactions. I even provided the medication for my eczema. She was saying things like “dry skin is a normal reaction” and “you’re just not used to the product” (this was after I had a bad reaction to the toner). Is this normal for an esthetician to be bit skeptical of skin conditions? Or does this say something about the school?
