I tried removing the tops of the fins.
I had trouble because the seller had already tried doing it before; the aluminum was weaker at the edges as a result, which made things difficult.
I plan to use a 12V, 12,000 RPM Tozz mini rotary tool with the blue grinding bit to remove the burrs. Should i?
Do i need Molex Microfit 3.0?
Fans used: P12 Pro and P14 Pro.
Measured with UNI-T UT123. Tactile feel: cool or slightly warm.
Games tested: No More Room in Hell 2, Remnant: From the Ashes. Both at maximum settings.
Addendum:
For the PCIe connector plugged into the card and the card's own PCIe socket: a constant temperature below 30°C.
For the PCIe connector at the power supply: a maximum of 32°C.
The wires themselves show varying temperatures. The wires closest to the power supply reach temperatures similar to the connector at the power supply end, whereas those closer to the BC-250 reach lower temperatures.
I have a Corsair RM650e ATX power supply (modular).
Which cable should I use? Are these the ones? I think they're strange.
There's one that's two PCIe (6+2) and converges into a 12-pin gray-tipped cable.
The 24-pin cable diverges into a 10-pin and an 18-pin (which says type-4).
There are other cables as well.
