No hate to the artists but genuinely how is yet another generic scythe not only winning but at over double the votes for cool giant spider legs and web

It was the same scenario with the Plaguereaver bell skin, these Discord mfs hate originality

I get that the more popular rods are gonna end up winning most of the time but especially last week as we saw with the Petrichor skin for Noiseform (that also won last week's poll) scalpers WIPED OUT the stock within 50 minutes of the update

All these polls seem to be doing is allowing them to vote en masse for the rod that would be easiest to manipulate a skin for, prepare everything for the update, and then immediately buying as much of the skin as they can when said update drops so they have most of the stock and normal players don't

This is more of a problem with being allowed to vote for the rod itself, I don't believe voting for the skin is causing as much of a problem, and it's really cool to see the best skin concepts the community comes up with (mainly because I don't spend a ton of time in the art channel)

Anyways that's my rant. I've seen some Fisch staff in here before so there's a chance this is seen but who knows. I know this wouldn't do squat to actually stop scalping as the devs are still going to end up choosing the most popular rods for the skins regardless but at least this would make it so scalpers couldn't manipulate what skins go where
