What’s next after lifting for four years?
Looking for some advice or insight!
I’ve been doing strength training for about four years. Started with absolutely no strength and have grown a lot! But, wondering if I’ve kind of maxed out where I’m going to see results? I’m still getting slow progressive overload but struggle with heavy squats (over my body weight) and same with chest presses.
Also had a flu last year that knocked me out and I lost 6 kilos that haven’t come back, so adjusting to feeling leaner but still strong.
The main thing I’m wondering is about muscle definition and what if anything I could be doing better!
I’m 28yo woman, 5’4”, 63kg and typically train legs, back, chest, rest, upper, lower.
Hitting protein goals and eat well (mostly cook at home), but no supplements or anything.
Secondary question—maybe I just need a trainer to guide me more on the best program at this point?
