I of course love the version featuring Robert Smith, especially the addition of every instance of the chorus. But there’s something so raw and kinda deeply emotional about the original one that brings me back to it every now and then, and i think the vocals actually do fit that vibe well too.

Probably my last discussion post for a bit as to not flood the entire thing, anyways…
What are some interesting things about the band and their discography that you know about, but aren’t that commonly discussed within the community?
For me it’s II, to make it shiort; i find it a nice detour from what we had seen up to that point and i feel like that’s when the band’s style reached sonic maturity, plus i feel like Alice finally got the hang of both the delivery and the writing for this LP. It’s agressive when it has to, enveloping when it has to, but never really feels like “too much” or “too little”
