Storytime: The Abominable Neighborhood (Part 1)
You know what happened yesterday? My mother and father had gone to, like, a relative's house or something. I don't know. They were not at home, and I was at home with my brother whose SEVEN. It was nighttime, around nine o'clock.
So my mother told me, 'Don't go out. Keep an eye on your brother. He's playing outside in the street.'
Now, in the street, at the end of the area, there is a house that has a very big problem with me and my friends playing in the street. They have a problem with everyone they don't agree with, actually. Specifically, the one house where my friend lives.
So they are always looking for excuses to fight with us, to argue with us, to defame us. But hum bhi kam ziddi nahi hain. Hum phir bhi khelte hai gali mein kyuki uski baap ki sadak nhi hai. Everyone is free to play wherever they want. We are not even playing cricket or something. We are playing badminton. And that is also at the very least 20 to 30 steps away from their house. And even if we were playing in front of her house, my friend's house is also in that area. She has no right to say anything to us. (But we aren't any less stubborn, we still play there because it's not her father's property)
This is the backstory. Ab us ghar mein rehte hain ek old auntie, ek old uncle, unka nashedi beta, us nashedi bete ki wife, aur unki teen betiyaan. The oldest kid is around my age. She is in 11th, and I'm in 12th. Aur is old auntie ki do betiyaan bhi hain. Unmein se ek ke do chhote bachche hain. Woh ladki hamesha apni mummy ke ghar hi padi rehti hai, apne ghar kabhi nahi. (Now, in that house lives an old auntie, an old uncle, their drunkard son, the drunkard son's wife, and their three kids, all girls. The oldest kid is around my age. She is in 11th, and I'm in 12th. And this old auntie also has two daughters. One of them has two small kids. That girl is always at her mother's house, never at her own house.)
And I hate all of them equally because all of them are worse than pathetic insects. I'm not saying this out of rage for what they did yesterday and the day before yesterday. I never even disliked them until they started creating a nuisance in the street with us.
Unka bewada beta humse na jaane kis baat ki dushmani rakhta hai. We have never talked to him. We have never even looked at him. He just randomly came to us in a completely drunken state and started hurling threats and warnings. (That drunkard son for no reason has hostility towards us)
He started getting physical with us. A fight broke out between him and my friend's father. My friend's father filed a complaint against him at the police station. He literally begged them, saying that his wife was pregnant and he couldn't be involved in this. And just the next day, after the police complaint, phir se sadak par aa gaya tamasha karne. Then he posted us playing badminton on his Instagram story, saying that these kids are harassing me. WOWW WE HARRASSED HIM SO MUCH BY PLAYING BADMINTON😞✋
So you get the point. These people are vile. Now let me tell you what happened yesterday and why I am so angry. I am angry beyond words.
