A nice 1 to 4RR trade and how i manage my trade

sup everyone, Took this trade with a nice 1:4 RR. However halfway along the trade i decided to close my trade at a support area which i haven't marked on the chart but it's the first blue arrow where i close half of my position. And as expected price stalled there for a day, couldn't break the downtrend so it fell again to my final TP.

Closing half of my position and updating my SL to breakeven in the middle of the trades is such a blessing that allows me to be completely free from staring at the chart.

Does anyone else use this method to manage their trades? i like it very much

July 2026 marks 1 year since i started posting all my trades and monthly results here

12 months in and the reality of trading price action.
Starting Balance $2000
Ending Balance $12500
Net profit $10500

I’ve been posting my monthly trade results on here for a full year now. If you’ve been following the journey, you know I don’t mess around with indicators or guessing games. I trade raw price actionpurely watching how price reacts at my key levels from the Higher Timeframe and executing on the Lower Timeframes. Keeping it simple worked for me more than anythin

July was a solid month. Ended up with a $10k profit, which feels like a good milestone to hit at the one year mark of documenting this.

I’m sharing this because there’s way too much noise on this sub. People are looking for shortcuts or the next god indicator whiich DONT WORK so don't waste your money on such scams

If you can’t explain exactly why you’re taking a trade in one sentence, you shouldn’t be in the market.

Once i reached my goal on teh 27th of July, i went away on a short trip with and will be lookin to trade August soon.

So, How did July treat you guys? Share your monthly results below and let's discuss!

When the setup you've been waiting for shows up! 1/7RR

Sup everyone,

This was a massive 1:7RR trade. I risked very little, about $300 for this trade as my Stop loss and stood to make $2300 in return.

been looking for a setup in beginning of this week and found it in the Sydney/Asia session.

This is when everything started lining up for me. Since i trade with price action and analyzing the candles themselves to give me an edge, Price looked bearish to me today.

Price was clearly bearish here making lower lows and lower highs and one price found resistance (the big down candle slightly to the left of my entry) on the 4h and 1h timeframes i had to jump in !

With this trade i ended up hitting my monthly target and now i can stay away from the charts for the remainder of the month (3 days wooooooooo) Felt so good once my ears heard the TP getting hit. I can never get used to this lol.

I don't take a trade everyday and neither do you have to! Wait for the market to give you the right setup and then take the trade. Oh and this is bitcoin perpetual swap futures btw

How bout you guys? Took any trades today? Share below and let's discuss!!

No shame is closing a trade slightly below the full take profit level

No shame "in"*

Sup guys, took this 1:7 RR trade but closed it at 1:6 RR as price started taking it's time and i had to get ready to be somewhere, needed to get ready so i couldn't monitor it anymore.

The logic here was simply that the higher timeframes were all bullish and the next resistance being at 65k and 67k respectively.

So i longed after price dropped into the support box and then got back above up, that was my entry, turned out great as price didn't spend a single second in draw down and immediately started moving higher. This is exactly what i wanna see after an entry.

This trade was taken yesterday and when i woke up today it still hadn't fully hit the TP.

I analyzed some lower timeframes and didn't like the stalling of price here. so i decided to close it all a few hours ago at around 65300 instead of my full TP at 65600

Captured 90% of the move and that is enough. Consistency beats everything. Can always take a new trade later rather than holding each one hoping for a bigger Reward. Not that this was a small trade by any means but you guys probably get my point.

What about you guys took any trades today? Share them below! lets discuss

10 Min Scalp

sup everyone, took a quick 10 min scalp today as my trade.

Had price free falling since the start of the day on bitcoin and really this was simply marking the support zone and then taking a mean reversion trade more than anything.

Dropped to the 1min timeframe to execute my entry and here's the result for it.

all in all im happy with how it turned out, 1:2 RR trade, risked $400 and gained +$900

Done for the day, off to do some irl stuff now

wbu guys? took any trades today ? share them below! let's discuss

pre-market move captured 1:2RR

Sup everyone, btc is being pretty bullish on smaller timeframes recently so i took this long trade today pre-market and it took a few hours to hit my full TP

it was a 1:2.67 RR trade, i never go for 1:1, always 1:2 or higher is my strategy

Price spent virtually no time below my entry and i was in profit right away. This was a pretty stress free trade.

Had a logical entry and aimed for a 1.3% move.

overall +$1400 and that's it for me for this week. i'll be back next week.

Trade was based on price action strategy and once i saw how bullish it was i took a long from a nearby support area.

How was your trade today? took any trades? share below

Beautiful example of resistance turning into support

sup guys i posted my June's 2026 monthly pnl here but the post went under review. Waiting on the mods to approve it.

Anyways, Just took this trade almost 2 hours ago!!

It's a 1:2.3RR trade

Took less than an hour to reach full Take profit

This trade was taken because the 5min timframe flipped bullish and turned resistance into support. Then all i had to do was execute my entry and wait for the price to hit full tp

If you look at this trade on your chart you'll also be able to find the entry watch the LTF at 9am est

That's a +$2000 for me ! Im done for the day. How's your trading day going? Took any trades today? share 'em below and let's discuss !

Trading more or less which is better? June 2026

Sup guys, here's the result of my June's Trades

SStarting Balance $2000
Ending balance $11800
Net profit $9800
Target was $10k
could have taken one more trade but i decided to take a back seat and enjoy the last week of the month with my fam and friends

I have tried both, more trades in a month and less trades in a month and i get almost the same result with both.

Most of the trades i took in June have been posted here on my reddit profile if anyone's interested in looking at them, not posting them here again.

Using price action trading strategy where to me it's like If price hits Resistance "A" then > it should go to Support "B"

This is the bread and butter of my strategy, finding key areas of S/R and taking trades off of them.

Who else had a good Month in June ? Share your stats below and let's discuss !!

final trade with a few days to spare

sup guys, took this 1:4RR trade today risking around $700 to make $2.6kish

i logged in today at 9am est but saw that price was dropping already without giving me an entry so i figured to come back and check it a few hours later. i placed a alert at 59080 which was my next point of interest area and left the screen.

As soon i got the alert i opened the chart and found my trade. It took a few hours to play out and right when i was about to take a nap, price pumped hard and hit my full tp. This is why price action trading is miles better than smc, ict, elliot waves or any sort of indicator trading.

Overall im pretty happy with how this trade went.

With this trade i've reached my monthly target of $10k with almost a week to spare. Now depending on my mood i'll either take back seat and enjoy the rest of the days of the month or perhaps hit another trade in the coming days.

Happy trading everyone!

Who else reached their monthly goal this month? or is close to it? share your story/trades below and let's discuss

Done for the day in under an hour this time

Sup guys. pretty glad today’s trade wrapped up in less than an hour n now I’m free to hit the gym.

This was a 1:3 RR play i risked $300 to make $1,100. I love taking anything 1:2 or higher; it gives me plenty of room to maneuver if the price action gets choppy.

Before anyone asks... I’ve explained my strategy here a lot over the past year in my previous posts, and this trade is no different. The entry was based on a 4H support zone while targeting a 1H resistance area for my TP. The red boxes on the chart mark these areas, I don't clutter my screen with drawings, I prefer to eyeball the zones, so feel free to check them against your own chart

Overall, pretty satisfied with how this played out. I’m done for the day and stepping away from the screens. Adios!

How was your day? Catch any clean moves? Share them below! let’s appreciate some good setups

Just closed a 1:2.5 RR trade in the New York session

NY session is by far my favorite session to trade. It fits in really well with my daily schedule and usually gives quick moves towards the next zone on the chart. For both longs or shorts.

Here's todays setup, a text book rejection from the bottom and then a full on race towards the top at 66200 on BTC

A 1:2.5 RR trade

booked 2300$ on this. Not bad for a few hours of work

if you're struggling with consistency then you’re likely over relying on a single timeframe and getting chopped out.

for this trade i used the 1hour chart to define for my bias, i don’t care about the 5minute noise until I’ve identified where the 1H structure is attempting to expand. it was clear that price was gravitating toward the 66,200 zone.

once the HTF bias was established, I dropped to the 5minute chart to hunt for the rejection. This allows for a much tighter stoploss and a cleaner entry

Image 1 shows my entry
image 2 shows trade moving towards tp
image 3/4 shows full tp getting hit

I'm done for the day and it's time to get some food

Anyone else trades btc here? share your setup below, let's discuss!!

Big trade done right

Sup guys im back!

Took this trade on btc with Stop loss of about 900$ and a TP of 3.8k

It was a 1:4 RR trade.

The first image shows my entry

The 2nd image shows my partial Take profit, Took 50% off of my position here and booked 600$

The 3rd image shows my closed partial and the remaining open position. Right after it i updated my Stop loss to breakeven.

Since the trade was now risk free i then let it run over the weekend with stoploss at BE.

The 4th/5th image shows price moving to the original full TP area over the weekend and then hitting full tp. Closed the trade there and added another 1800$ to the bag.

Overall ended up with 2400$ in profit.

All this was made possible thanks to Price action trading. Yes i know it gets alot of hate, honestly everything does cuz you got people on both sides, the ones who do it right and the ones who don't with it.

Test it out yourself first before writing it off, Open up the charts study how price moves and why it moves the way it does.

Took me alot of years before i got the hang of it but if i can do it everyone can.

How's your weekend going? Im waiting for market to reopen later on Sunday. Wbu guys? took any trades recently? share them below ! let's discuss them

Why price action trading is superior to indicator trading

A 1:3 RR Trade and a 1:4 RR ( about 1:3 as well as i closed it earlier)

Wassup guys, let’s talk about why pure price action trading is lightyears ahead of trading with indicators.

I see so many traders plastering their screens with MACD, RSI, Bollinger Bands, and a hundred moving averages, trying to guess where the market is going. Basically sometimes they work sometimes they don't which isn't good enough and is going to cost everyone alot in the longrun.

EVERY INDICATOR is just a derivative of price. They take past candle data, run it through a mathematical formula (code), and paint a pretty picture on your screen AFTER the fact. By the time an RSI tells you something is oversold or a MACD crossover happens the actual move already started hours ago. Price action shows you shifts in market structure and order flow the exact second they happen!!! And this right here changed my trading forever years ago.

Late entries mean your stop loss has to be wide to stay safe, which completely kills setup before it even begins.

To show you exactly what i mean, I’ve attached two of my most recent setups

One is a clean 1:3 RR and the other is a beautiful 1:4 RR trade. Both of these worked out flawlessly because i was reading price action correctly. If i was still using indicators, these trades wouldn't even be possible. The lagging signals wouldn't have told me to enter until price was already halfway to my target, completely ruining the risk to reward0

Drop all indicators, YES even the premium ones you bought and stick to price action only. With the help of price action basics i ended up developing my own edge in the market, You can do the same.

im sure other veteran traders would agree with this. When did you realize indicators were all mostly just useless? Took me a good few years in the beginning lol

A slow month after many consistent ones

Wassup guys, I’m back!

Starting Balance May 2026 - 2000$
Ending balance - 8300$
Net profit - 6300$

Been a seriously hectic month for me outside of trading. Barely had time to even sit properly on the charts some days and honestly life had me pulled in multiple directions at once. Between all the chaos and going on a road trip from May 6th to the 15th, I just didn't have the time or energy to be posting setups on Reddit.

Even with the limited time and BTC looking absolutely shit this month, the edge still held up. Didn't quite reach my $10k/month goal because of the market chop and being away from the desk, but I'll definitely take it.

Relied strictly on clean price action and multiple timeframe analysis. No need to overcomplicate trading with 50 indicators. It really just comes down to understanding what's being supported and what's being rejected.

Here is exactly how I break down the charts:

The Macro Bias (1D / 4H): I always start on the higher timeframes to find major key areas, like orderblocks or fair value gaps. I watch how price reacts when it taps into these zones. For example, if price tries to push past a key resistance area but fails to hold above it, I’m looking for heavy weakness and multiple candle rejections on the 4H. You want to see sellers stepping in aggressively at these areas instead of price comfortably accepting above them.

The Execution (5M): Once the higher timeframe gives me a clear bias, I drop down to the 5M chart for the actual entry confirmation.

By keeping it this simple and only taking setups that looked completely clean, I managed to pull decent returns without being glued to the desk all day.

How did May treat you guys? Did you manage to navigate the BTC chop safely? Share your experience below let’s discuss!

A quick 2RR trade in the New York session

Wassup guys im back !!

Been a seriously hectic month for me outside of trading. Barely had time to even sit properly on the charts some days and honestly life had me pulled in multiple directions at once. I did take a few trades here and there, just not as many as I would’ve liked, and I genuinely couldn’t be bothered posting every single setup on Reddit while dealing with everything else going on.

Got another trip planned for the next few days as well, so I’ll have to leave trading behind for a bit again and just step away from the screens.

Here’s today’s trade though:

Bias: Short
Timeframes used: 1D, 4H and 5M

Took this short trade during the NY session

Entered the trade after price failed to hold above a key resistance area and started showing weakness with multiple rejections on the 4h (sorry don't have a 4h screenshot) You want to see sellers stepping in aggressively at these areas instead of price comfortably accepting above them. Very simple price action setup.

Risked around $750 on the trade to make roughly $1500 back for a clean 1:2 RR trade.

The moment price started breaking lower and failed to reclaim the previous support turned resistance, the downside move became very likely. No need to overcomplicate trading with 50 indicators. Just understand what's being supported and what's being rejected

Closed the trade fully at TP for around $1500 profit.

Did anyone else catch the NY move today? Or maybe took a different setup? Share below/let’s discuss.

Took this trade during Sunday's Asia session. Probably the best asia session as that's when the weekly candle is about to close/closes so we usually see lots of volatility. A traders dream.

Entered here with a tight stop risking $300 to make about $1500 in return, a good 1:4 RR setup.

Trade was taken as price could not breakout above the previous high marked with the yellow line. It was a bearish resistance area and you want to see a strong push instead of a weak dribble in these kinds of spots. Very simple

Went to sleep after entering the trade as a $300 stop even if it got hit would have been nothing much because of my previous trade which gives me alot of headroom.

Woke up to see that price had hit full TP!

On to the next !

Anyone else managed to catch this trade? Or perhaps an other trade? Share your trade below/let's discuss
